Privacy policy

This page says what Funneldoc stores about you, about the people who visit your pages, and why. The controller is Tsalamagkakis Georgios Christos, sole trader, Gythio, Greece, reachable at gc@automatopoeia.io.
If you have an account
What we store: your email address, the name you give us (or the part of your email before the @), your chosen page name, your pages (the converted content, the link to each Google Doc, and copies of the images in them), your look and tracking settings, the tools you connected (their API keys encrypted, never shown again), the leads your pages collect, when you signed in, and your plan. Payments are handled by Stripe; we store Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers, never your card.
Why: to run your account and your pages, to bill you, and to email you about your account (sign-in links, receipts, a page whose document we can no longer read). We do not send marketing from the app.
Your Google Doc: we read it only through the public export of a document you shared by link. We do not have access to your Google account and never ask for it.
The helper in your dashboard: when you ask it something, we send your question, the conversation so far, the screen you are on and a summary of your account (your pages, your connectors and their last errors, recent sends that failed, your tracking ids and domains) to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the answer. The summary never includes passwords, API keys or the details of the people on your pages. We keep your conversations with the helper to answer you and to improve Funneldoc. If you press "Send this to a human", the conversation is emailed to us so we can reply.
How long: for as long as you have an account. Delete it and your pages, images and counts go with it. Stripe keeps payment records as long as accounting law requires.
If you visit a Funneldoc page
Pages are hosted by us on behalf of their owners. When you open one we record that the page was viewed and, to count unique visitors, a hash made from your IP address, your browser's user agent, the day and a secret. The hash cannot be turned back into your address and is not kept beyond what the counts need. We record button clicks the same way. From these counts page owners see numbers only, never who you are.
If you fill in a form on a page, what you type (usually your email and name), the box you ticked if there is one, the ad tags on the link you arrived with and the page you came from go to the owner of that page. We store them for the owner, email them to the owner, and send them to the tools the owner connected (such as Kit, MailerLite or a webhook). For this the page owner is responsible for your details and we process them on their behalf; ask them, or us, to see or delete what you sent.
If the owner added ad tracking (a Meta pixel, Google Analytics or a TikTok pixel), those tools load on the page and set their own cookies. Visitors in Europe are asked first, and the tools load only after you accept; the choice is remembered in your browser and can be changed from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. With your consent, the page reports views, sign-ups, clicks to a checkout and purchases to those tools, and we may also send the sign-up and purchase from our server to Meta or TikTok, with your IP address, your browser and, for a sign-up, your email hashed (scrambled one way), so the owner's ads are counted correctly.
The owner of a page decides what the page says and where its buttons lead. Anything you do after clicking a button is between you and that site.
If you chat with us on funneldoc.page or the guide
The chat in the corner of our website and guide sends your questions, the conversation so far and the page you are reading to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the answers. We keep the conversation to answer you and to learn what people want to know. We do not know who you are: to limit how many questions one visitor can ask in a day we keep a hash made from your IP address, the day and a secret, never the address itself. The conversation stays in your browser tab until you close it.
If you press "Ask GC by email" and leave your email address, we email the conversation to GC so he can reply to you, and keep your address with the conversation. Only if you also tick "Also send me Funneldoc news" do we add your address to our mailing list (run on Kit); every email from it has an unsubscribe link.
Who else handles data
We run on services that process data for us under their own agreements: Vercel (hosting, in the EU and US), Supabase (database and image storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Google (reading documents shared by link), Anthropic (the answers of the dashboard helper and of the chat on our website) and Kit (our mailing list, only for people who ask for news). We do not sell data and do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you from Account settings, or by writing to gc@automatopoeia.io. Under the GDPR you also have the right to object, to restrict processing, and to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or the authority where you live.
Cookies
The app at app.funneldoc.page uses a sign-in cookie and a cookie that remembers the founders' link; nothing else. Customer pages set no cookies of their own; a page whose owner added ad tracking loads those tools' cookies as described above, in Europe only after you accept. The homepage sets none of its own; the chat in its corner keeps the conversation in your browser tab while it is open.
Changes
We update this page when what we do changes; the date at the top says when.
